Sustainability at BEST Fluidsysteme
Responsibility for the Environment and the Future
Sustainability is an integral part of the corporate strategy of BEST Fluidsysteme GmbH. We take responsibility for the environment, society, and future generations by consistently investing in sustainable technologies and resource-efficient processes.
Our workflows are clearly structured, transparently documented, and fully integrated into our daily operations. This provides the foundation for long-term efficiency, high quality standards, and the responsible use of resources.
We continuously strive for improvement in the interests of our customers, our region, and a sustainable future. Our focus is on implementing practical measures rather than making promises alone.
Carbon-Neutral Shipping
We design our shipping processes to be as environmentally friendly and resource-efficient as possible.
- Carbon-neutral transportation: Our products are shipped via UPS using carbon-neutral shipping solutions.
- Sustainable packaging: Cardboard boxes are reused whenever practical and technically feasible. For new packaging materials, we prioritize sustainable sourcing and responsible forest management.
- Recyclable filling materials: Existing packaging materials are reused whenever possible. For new purchases, we exclusively select 100% recyclable materials.

Renewable Energy Generation with Solar Power
To increase energy independence and actively support climate protection, we operate photovoltaic systems on our main facility to generate a portion of our own electricity.
The expansion of our solar capacity to additional buildings and areas is already included in our long-term planning.
Emission Reduction Through Hybrid and Electric Mobility
To reduce operational emissions, we utilize a modern hybrid vehicle fleet and continue to create the infrastructure required for further expansion of electric mobility.
Our existing electric vehicle charging stations allow us to use self-generated solar energy directly for our fleet. This helps reduce emissions, particularly in regional day-to-day operations.
Digital Processes for Greater Sustainability
Through the consistent digitalization of our administrative processes, we reduce paper consumption and create more efficient workflows.
These initiatives include:
- E-invoicing and digital billing processes
- Digital document management
- Sustainable document archiving using systems such as DocuWare and Microsoft SharePoint
- Improved availability of quality-related and business-critical documents
Sustainability in Everyday Operations
Sustainability is not a standalone project for us but an essential part of our daily activities. Through energy-efficient solutions, responsible resource management, and continuous improvement, we actively contribute to a more sustainable future for the fluid systems industry.
